Dr Peter Weinstock, director of the most respected medical simulation programme in the world, spent Thursday 1st July with Royal Brompton’s paediatric resuscitation team, also known as SPRinT.Dr Weinstock leads the simulation programme at the Children’s Hospital Boston in the US and is also assistant professor of anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School.
He was invited to visit Royal Brompton by paediatric consultants Dr Margarita Burmester and consultant paediatric intensivist Dr Meredith Allen, who are co-directors of SPRinT.The day began with an opportunity to meet members of the SPRinT team, which includes consultants, paediatric critical care nurses and anaesthetists.
