Dan has worked on Rose Ward for over 10 years, and is currently in post as Clinical Practice Educator. The education team is responsible for the professional development of nursing staff on the unit, and the ability of staff to deal with crisis situations is one the team holds as a priority.
Dan has been a member of the SPRinT faculty since 2012. He has a special interest in simulation and Crisis Resource Management incorporating this into ward teaching and as part of a programme for newly qualified nurses.
He completed the Advanced Facilitators Course at the Royal Brompton Hospital in 2013, and works with the team on the planning and provision of monthly scenarios on Rose Ward.
