Deputy SPRinT Nurse
Senior Staff Nurse, Rose Ward, Royal Brompton Hospital

Sami completed her Children’s nursing qualification at Bournemouth University in 2011; she immediately followed her interest of cardiorespiratory nursing to the Royal Brompton where she commenced her role as staff nurse on the Children’s Ward. Through gaining experience and being promoted to Senior Staff Nurse in 2015, Sami developed a keen interest in emergency care and simulation.

After attending the SPRinT Introductory Facilitator’s Course, she subsequently took up the unique role of Deputy SPRinT Nurse in July 2016 where she facilitates weekly SPRinT courses and acts as lead SPRinT nurse for Rose Ward alongside the education team. She continues to develop in this role and also supports study/teaching days around emergency care and simulation as well as assisting at the SPRinT facilitator’s course.
